Database version upgrades would be something your web host is responsible for unless you're running your own server in which case I would think you'd be familiar with such tasks.

MariaDB 10.2.x is no longer maintained, so your sites could be a security risk as would be running Joomla from 9 years ago without updating it.

For reference, J4 (or earlier) system requirements don't list MariaDB as supported (not to say it isn't; just not widely tested) https://manual.joomla.org/docs/4.4/get- ... uirements/)

J5 system requirements were the first to specifically list MariaDB.
https://manual.joomla.org/docs/next/get ... uirements/

Recommended is MariaDB 11.1.0+, minimum 10.4.0

I'd agree why are you running Joomla from 9 years ago? Even 3.10.12 is on its last run - and is only supported (for security updates) through the Long Term Support scheme.

If you have to move to new servers then migrating your sites should be relatively painless.

Use Akeeba Backup to make backups of each and then Akeeba Kickstart to restore each to the new server.
Maybe your web host would do this migration for you (as part of your hosting fees or additional charge - I don't know). The first step is to get Joomla updated to a relatively recent version.
