Perhaps you should take control of that site admin aspect - to load the images correctly.
It could be done by way of a photo gallery extension in which the photos can be loaded into specific folders, and then displayed on the relevant article page concerning each vehicle. That could be done depending on the gallery extension by short code or loading a module to a module position or directly in an article with load position/load module (joomla included functions) or with Regular Labs Modules Anywhere.
Photo gallery components might have their own method to ensure images are cropped, and set to certain dimensions etc.
