Hi Good to read this because I am in the same doubt to change from Easyblog to RSBlog, but the most important question.... was it easy to find out how it works, to import the blogs of easyblogs to RSBlog? And did you have also different categories?I did just install RSBlog and used its plugin to import a couple hundred posts from EasyBlog. Took less than fifteen minutes to install and get configured, and seconds to perform the import. It worked mostly well, importing the EasyBlog posts' content including text and images, author name linked to userID, creation date, and category. It did not appear to import the posts' cover images nor comments.You might want to check out RSBlog from RSJoomla. It has been around for quite a bit and allows you to import/export Joomla articles as well as post new blog entries via email.
There is a batch option to export the posts from RSBlog to Joomla articles though I have not tried that yet.
