General Questions/New to Joomla! 5.x • php version not supported error

I recently updated from 4.4.5 to 5.1.1. I am on Siteground, MySQL8 and PHP 8.3.7. I can access the backend but I get an error on the front:
Sorry, your PHP version is not supported.

Your host needs to use PHP version 8.1.0 or newer to run this version of Joomla.
I have cleared my browser cache and Siteground's. I have created a new htaccess file using Admin tools.
Any idea what is causing this and how to resolve it?
