As the update from Joomla 3.9.27 to 3.10.12 seemed to go fine, I next tried to upgrade to 4.4.5 even though I could not see, or therefore run, Pre-Update for Joomla 4. Unsurprisingly, this failed (see screenshot of the result). I will revert to the backup status of 3.10.12 and await any wisdom you faithful forum friends offer.
