Joomla articles are not static content. They're dynamic (as in, like any Joomla content, are generated from the database when you browse the URL - you're not loading *static* HTML files.
I expect you mean the joomla articles content don't change but that's different to the meaning of "dynamic" and "static" in general terms when talking about web sites.
How do K2 and Articles NOT share a database? They are loaded from Joomla's database - the same one. K2 is simply a replacement article manager for Joomla's built in article manager.

There are import/export tools for K2 to Articles or vice versa on the JED. is that what you need (are you wanting to use Articles in place of K2 - because K2 doesn't work in J4 or J5). Perhaps a tool like this one: https://extensions.joomla.org/extension ... migration/
