That sounds really strange. If you have a full backup of the Joomla folder, restore it to a workstation. It does not have to run for example Wampserver, as long as all the files are there. The use grepWin or a similar application to search for the string 'inxformation' with no quotes. Post the path and the contents of the line where that text is found.
